Breastfeeding Coalition

Mission Statement:  Provide breastfeeding education, information and resources for health care professionals, mothers and families.

Meetings:  
   
3rd Thursday of every month 
      9:15 – 11:30 AM
   Held at the Multipurpose Room 
      2101 Courage Drive, Fairfield, CA

 Members: Representatives of public and private agencies that serve pregnant and breastfeeding women, including agencies and physician offices that provide prenatal and pediatric care, local Solano County hospitals as well as from the neighboring Air Force Base and Napa County, WIC, Public Health Nursing, Black Infant Health, BabyFirst Solano, La Leche League and Partnership HealthPlan of California, the Medi-Cal Managed Care Plan of Solano County.

    Location: Multipurpose Room of 2101 Courage Drive, Fairfield
    Who: Moms, babies, families, as well as those who helped them:
      - at birth: Hospitals, Doctors, Nurses, Doulas, Midwives
      - at home: grandparents, neighbors, friends, Home visitors
      - when things were hard: WIC, support groups, Public Health Nurses
      - at work: employers, Human Resources, 
           and many others in the community who serve these families.
    Join us in celebrating our breastfeeding mothers and their babies...
        ...and the many people who made this possible!
