Mini medical school focuses on aging with vitality

March 4, 2013

A four-week mini medical school will focus on the anatomy of aging and staying healthy.

The program will be presented by the Senior Coalition of Solano County, in partnership with Solano County's major medical providers – Sutter Health, North Bay Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente.

"This is a unique opportunity to learn about the medical science behind aging with vitality. Local physicians will cover a variety of medical topics in an understandable and engaging way," Senior Coalition coordinator Rochelle Sherlock.

The Aging with Vitality program will be held at the Community United Methodist Church social hall, 1875 Fairfield Ave. in Fairfield, from 8:30 a.m. to noon on the following Saturdays: April 13, April 20, April 27 and May 4.

A suggested donation of $5 to $10 will be accepted to help cover the costs of the event.
