Here at the Sheriff's Office we have many types of careers available to a number of individuals willing and able to meet the challenge. We need to work together and market the profession as a whole to meet future personnel needs and reduce recruitment losses.
The formation of a new recruitment team was developed to determine and identify the areas where improvements are needed for recruitment and retention. The team's goals will effectively address the growing challenge of recruiting qualified individuals as well as retaining the quality of our employees.
The team is comprised of many members from the Sheriff's Office. The program manager is Lt. Gary Faulkner. The team encompasses Deputy Sheriff's, Dispatch, Correctional and Nursing staff. The team has been hard at work constructing new display's, attending training and taking new display photographs as well as attending recruiting events.
