Rubberized Chip Seal 2014
The work shall consist, in general, of applying Terminal Blend Chip Seal on existing asphalt or chip sealed road surfaces on County roads in unincorporated Solano County. Work will also include surface preparation, flagging, traffic control, quality control, and thermo plastic.
In order for a prime contractor to qualify as a bidder for this project, you must purchase the plan set, which registers you with the County as a planholder.
Contract documents may be obtained upon a $40.00 non-refundable fee per set, postage included. Make checks payable to: Solano County, 675 Texas Street, Suite 5500, Fairfield, California, 94533. Contractors can choose to provide their FedEx account number to expedite delivery.
Bids will be received until Thursday, August 21, 2014, @ 2:00 p.m. Immediately following, they will be publicly opened and read. The apparent low bidder, along with any listed subcontractors, will be posted to this website soon thereafter.
Engineer's Estimate is $230,000.
