TRAVIS AFB SOUTH GATE SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Safety improvements along Petersen Road for the Travis Air Force Base south gate entrance for deliveries to this facility.  Safety improvements include but are not limited to road widening for truck stacking, bike lanes, improved geometry, pavement rehabilitation, modifications to existing culverts and other minor improvements.  Full depth reclamation (FDR) will be implemented for existing roadways to maximize recycling of existing materials and widened portions of the roadway.  Petersen Road will be resurfaced with implementation of the most current safety standard requirements for traffic striping and traffic delineation. 

Contract documents may be obtained upon payment of a $95.00 non refundable fee per set, postage included. Make checks payable to: Solano County, 675 Texas Street, Suite 5500, Fairfield, California, 94533. Contractors can choose to provide their FedEx account number to expedite delivery.

Bids will be received until Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Solano County Department of Resource Management, 675 Texas Street, Suite 5500, Fairfield, CA 94533.
Engineer's Estimate: $2,100,000.
