VACAVILLE - DIXON BICYCLE ROUTE PHASE 5B
Federal Aid No. CML-5923 (110)

The work consists, in general, of constructing Class II bicycle lanes along approximately 3 miles of Hawkins Road from Leisure Town Road to Fox Road. The work includes widening the pavement and both shoulders a total of 7-8 feet in order to construct the bike lanes. Other work consists of drainage improvements and asphalt concrete overlay over the entire road, with new striping and signing of the bike lanes and roadway.

Engineer's Estimate is $2,100,000.

Contract documents may be obtained upon payment of a $95.00 non refundable fee per set, postage included. Make checks payable to: Solano County, 675 Texas Street, Suite 5500, Fairfield, California, 94533. Contractors can choose to provide their FedEx account number to expedite delivery.

VACA VALLEY ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENT

The work consists, in general, of re-aligning the curve on Vaca Valley Road and reconstructing the section to a 32-foot wide paved section, structural section of 14.5” thick aggregate base and 4.5” thick asphalt concrete with 4-foot earth shoulders. Other work consists of drainage improvements, and installing traffic stripes and markings.

Engineer's Estimate is $285,000.
