Mission Statement: Provide breastfeeding education, information and resources for health care professionals, mothers and families.

Held at the Multipurpose Room

Members: Representatives of public and private agencies that serve pregnant and breastfeeding women, including agencies and physician offices that provide prenatal and pediatric care, local Solano County hospitals as well as from the neighboring Air Force Base and Napa County, WIC, Public Health Nursing, Black Infant Health, BabyFirst Solano, La Leche League and Partnership HealthPlan of California, the Medi-Cal Managed Care Plan of Solano County.

Breastfeeding: A key to Sustainable Development
1. To inform people about the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they relate to breastfeeding and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF).
2.To firmly anchor breastfeeding as a key component of sustainable development.
3.To galvanize a variety of actions at all levels on breastfeeding and IYCF in the new era of the (SDGs).
4.To engage and collaborate with a wider range of actors around the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding.
