Suicide Prevention
Solano County locally funds suicide prevention trainings such as safeTALK and ASIST for mental health providers, community partners, and the public. Local suicide prevention efforts are directed by a Suicide Prevention Committee, which is comprised of representatives from across a variety of organizations and communities.

Solano County Behavioral Health and the Suicide Prevention Committee recently engaged the community in a comprehensive planning process to develop the first countywide Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan.
