S.M.A.R.T. Program

The S.M.A.R.T. (Successful Mental Health, Addiction, and Recovery Treatment) Program provides supportive services for CalWORKs recipients in Solano County who have barriers that make it difficult to be self-suffient and obtain employment. We also arrange for childcare services and transportation payments for active CalWORKs recipients who are attending behavioral health activities as part of their Welfare to Work plan. We connect clients to services such as:

  • substance abuse
  • mental health
  • domestic violence
  • counseling
  • parenting classes

If you are referred to the S.M.A.R.T. Program, you will receive:

  • screening and assessments
  • referrals to treatment and support services
  • case management
  • brief intervention
  • referrals for childcare and transportation payments to attend the above services
