Substance Abuse Services

Mission Statement

Solano County Substance Abuse Services is dedicated to providing a continuum of care that benefits the clients and providers.  Utilizing a combined administrative, clinical, and preventive services approach, we deliver coordinated services to the diverse populations of Solano County who are impacted by alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD), and related issues such as domestic violence.

About the Program

Substance Abuse Services provides a range of treatment and recovery services for alcoholism and other drug addictions. Through community and county-based programs, we serve approximately 4,000 persons per year.  Substance Abuse Services is a voluntary program that provides services for adults who are residents of Solano County and are uninsured or have Medi-Cal.  We accept referrals from:

  • Solano County Probation Department
  • Solano County Mental Health Services
  • Solano County Child Welfare Services
  • Solano County Employment and Eligibility Services
  • Solano County Family Health Services
  • Solano County Older and Disabled Adult Services
  • The Courts
  • Physicians
  • Attorneys
  • Self-Referrals

Services Provided

Services include, but are not limited to, alcohol and drug detoxification, outpatient treatment, and residential treatment.
