Solano County is pleased to share our Innovation Proposal, the Mental Health Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Cultural Transformation Model. This proposal represents a significant collaborative planning effort between Solano County, community stakeholders, The Center for Reducing Health Disparities at UC Davis, and staff at the Mental Health Oversight & Accountability Commission (MHSOAC).

The proposal utilizes innovative approaches to teach and adapt the Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Service (CLAS) Standards to be culturally specific to communities in Solano County, and aims to develop quality improvement efforts which will increase the cultural proficiency and delivery of our Mental Health Service System and to measure the effectiveness of these efforts.
The proposal was approved by the MHSOAC on June 10, 2015.
