Instructions to Bidders

If you have not registered with the County, please complete the   Vendor Application form and submit it with the bid/RFP package. Bids/RFPs shall be delivered and addressed to Purchasing Services indicating the bid/RFP number and final submission date. Any bidder who wishes their bid/RFP to be considered is responsible for making certain bid/RFP is received in the Purchasing Services office by the closing date and time. No oral, telegraphic, email, facsimile or telephonic bids/RFPs or modifications will be considered unless specified. Be sure to read all instructions, terms and conditions, specifications, general conditions, mailing instructions, etc. Solicitations received after the final submission date and time will be filed unopened.

Upon release of Request for Proposals (RFP), all vendor communications concerning the procurement must be directed to the RFP Coordinator. Unauthorized contact regarding the RFP with other County employees of the procuring county agency may result in disqualification.

Title: FISH & WILDLIFE PROPAGATION FUND GRANT PROGRAM

Description:

The Solano County Fish and Wildlife Propagation Fund, Grant Program is overseen by the Solano County Park and Recreation Commission (in its role as the County Fish and Wildlife Commission) in conformance with Section 13100 et seq. of the California Fish and Game Code. Fish and Game Code Section 13100 regulates the expenditures of fines and forfeitures imposed pursuant to Fish and Game Code Sections 12009 and 13003, for the protection, conservation, propagation and preservation of fish and wildlife, under the direction of the County Board of Supervisors. Solano County anticipates allocating $200,000 in Fiscal Year (FY) 2010/2011 to provide grants to projects in Solano County that are consistent with Fish and Game Code Section 13103 and focused on: improving fish and wildlife habitat, care for injured wildlife, and public education.
