Better Living Through Education
Raising awareness about the impacts of invasive weeds on the ecology, economy, and esthetics of Solano County are some of our primary goals. We hope to enlist you, the private citizen, in the war on weeds. To this end, we have developed educational materials, organized educational events, and provided links here to other informative web pages that focus on weeds.

Annual Public Meeting

Each year Solano County WMA hosts a public meeting, usually on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday in January, where farmers, ranchers, landowners and other Solano County residents can learn more about invasive weeds.  These meetings are free and participants can receive DPR continuing education credits for attending.
